Matt comes home after the concert to find Gabby still awake...just like he hoped. Based on Dawsey scene in 4x06 and Matt's comment about Gabby staying up after the concert. Very much M rated, my take on what we should have seen after the concert but didn't.

Welch told Gabby about Matt and his new fling. She decides that if Matt is moving on, then she should do the same. She agrees to have a girls' night with Brett, but Gabby then runs into someone from her past. Someone that she never wanted to see again. Matt wishes that he could take back what happened and be with Gabby again, but is it too late? Has she already moved on?

It has been four weeks since the events in the finale. Matt is still missing and the prime suspect in the murder of Katja. Gabby is just waiting for him to come home now there is a baby on the way. But even if they do find him, how is it going to end. What happened and what are the consequences?

Dawsey central. Dawson is the new candidate but is insanely attracted to the Lieutenant who seems to share the feelings. How would their relationship, if there be, survive the hardship of the job? Will the inferno of their love be hotter than the inferno they work into?

Matt Casey's fiancé left him to raise his twin girls on his own. Gabriella Ramirez comes back to Chicago with two twin boys and a fifteen month old baby girl after tragedy strikes her family. These two worlds collide and chaos ensues. Rated T because I'm not quite sure where I'll be taking this.

The horrible day they both had been through, brought them closer together. But together, they make the night count, rekindlling their love.
