Tag to 4x05 and inspired by an Awkward Moment. Just how did Merlin end up in chain mail?

Merlin, Arthur and the knights are celebrating a newly formed peace treaty. One tankard of mead leads to another, and Merlin is dared by Arthur. Everyone is shocked when Merlin's scars are revealed.

Arthur's return.

After years of being hidden, the Druid prince has run away… to the mortal kingdom of Camelot. His rash actions nearly start a war, but there are worse dangers afoot, like Emrys not wanting to be Emrys anymore. He'd much rather be mortal, with friends and fun. He'd rather be Merlin. A modern AU. Mostly canon pairings.

Uther is relieved when a curse misses Arthur and kills a servant instead. He's ready to put the incident behind him, but something about the loss of the servant has an effect on Arthur that Uther never expected.

After Arthur's return, he and Merlin go for a walk in the woods. Merlin would have loved it to be peaceful. A rickety wooden bridge has other ideas.

The citizens of Camelot have a nasty habit of getting captured by all sorts of crazy people. This series of one-shots goes into detail about all of the daring, noble (or not so noble), and cunning escapes of our heroes.

Arthur knew of the distinct shape of a Serket's stinger. He knew that no one who bore the mark of their sting could live long enough for it to scar. And that is why he couldn't take his eyes off the shiny white scar on Merlin's lower back. 4x09 Not Slash

Set during/after 5x13. What if Arthur hadn't died in Merlin's arms that night? What if his best friend had once again saved his life? But this time, his sacrifice will come with the ultimate price.

"Are we going to be best friends forever?" asked Balinor. "Always," answered Uther. When Uther looks at Arthur and Merlin, he doesn't see them, but himself and Balinor.
