Beca travels the world as a famoud DJ and producer, so obviously there will be some strain on her relationship with Aubrey.

Aubrey and Beca began dating in college after they "failed" to make it to the ICCAs. Things were as perfect as they could be for two years until Colonel Posen deemed it everything but acceptable. The words, "I've let you play out this phase for long enough," would always plague the blonde's mind as they led to her letting go of the love she was too afraid to stand up for.

Mitchsen: Aubrey's senior year at Barden is meant to be her most successful one yet - but her philosophy grade isn't quite where she wants it to be, her Bellas are practically falling apart, and Aubrey is fairly certain that it's entirely Beca Mitchell's fault.
