If Clark Kent is the hero of Smallville, then Lex Luthor is its heart. We are galvanized by his doomed struggle to find his footing in a world manipulated by his father, skewed by his best friend, and riddled with adversity.

The Luthors include Lionel his father & first nemesis, Lillian his mother & love of his life, his illegitimate half brother Lucas, and his baby brother Julian. His childhood nanny, Pamela Jenkins, and Lucas's mother, Rachel Dunlevy, round out the group.
