DOCTORxRIVER and AMYxRORY Note: I'm just goin to add here that even though the genre says Family/Humor, it's actually just about every genre we can pick from on here: Hurt/Comfort, Romance, Suspense, Drama, etc. and Adventure. ...Lots and lots of adventure.

River, now a student at the Luna University, hasn't seen the Doctor since he left her at the Sisters of the Infinite Schism facility. She suffers from nightmares and seeks solitude in the school library. Just when she thinks the Doctor comes back, she discovers that he expected an older version of her. She feels unwanted. But he shows her just how much he really cares.

And suddenly I feel so much stronger. My head is clearing and I suddenly know what Amy and Rory were upset about. I'm their daughter. How did I forget that? There's so much I've forgotten of my early life; it's just shadowy figures and angry voices and knowing and then forgetting that Amelia Pond and Rory Williams are my parents. They must have found her – found me, at last.

River arches an eyebrow and waits, letting him dance around the console aimlessly. He's fidgety, more so than usual, and she can guess the reason why. Finally he sighs and leans across her, pressing the button on the answer phone. A smooth, familiar voice filters through, and River's eyes widen. "Is that Martha Jones?"

River Song may have brought the Doctor back to life, but how did he really feel about this decision of hers? Or her parents, for that matter? River Song had to accept the agonzing truth. She was never going to see her beloved Doctor ever again. That wonderful chapter of her life had drawn to a close. Or so she thought. But, perhaps River Song had underestimated the impossible.

New managment in Stormcage doesn't bode well for River. Or the Doctor, for that matter. But in the end, this strife will sever the remaining secrets existing between them and bring them closer than they've ever been before.
