Luffy isn't happy to be left with mountain bandits. The bandits aren't happy either. Four years old Ace is curious, though, because it's something new. Never go into a potentially deadly situation without a backup plan. Cora-san loved Law, and this deal had no guarantees. So, he called in a favor. We all know the story of Ace, Sabo and Luffy growing up as wild-boys on Mt Corvo. Days they spent running care-free under the less then watchful eye of Dadan and the bandits. What would have happened if the boys had a different kind of foster-mother? This is the story of the ASL boys, raised by wolves and where they go from there. When Ace dies, he doesn't expect anything out of it. So when he gets a second chance and ends up as the youngest of the three brothers, he doesn't know what to think. In which Luffy has been a bit more stupid and a lot less lucky. Sabo and Ace are attempting to save their brother by racing against time and gaining notoriety in the process. Poor Garp has been unable to catch up, due to a very impressive system of connections. What happens when the two overprotective big brothers find that the next obstacle is the Whitebeard Crew.

Luffy, in a moment of fear, releases a power known only by a few. With Shanks the only one to bare witness, he decides to train the young boy forever altering the course of the world. One piece. AU. Young eyes that go wide at the terrific sight in front of them. The ever returning question of "Can you see me?". The nightmares full of blood. The laugh of a child sounding through the room after hearing amazing stories. The always confirming "Of course I can!". The dreams filled with comforting warmth. When Luffy wakes up on the Going Merry he's shocked. When the crew suddenly looks younger hes confused. When he sees Ace hes devastated. The crew find themselves appearing on the Merry in Alabasta, but how could this be? They were almost at Raftel, not Alabasta! And why was Ace suddenly... alive! How will they handle this, and more importantly, how will they get back to their time?

Luffy's childhood was marked by loneliness, the craziness of his Gramps and the softness of a barmaid; but also the joys, the pains, the tears, the smiles, brothers, family, warmth, love, death... Follow him through all his firsts, and eventually his lasts, that made him the young man he's now.

"In another life, far atop a mountain hidden amidst humongous trees, a family of bandits would've taken care of three rambunctious boys. Vice-Admiral Luffy is the base commander of G-9, but with some of the wackiest people imaginable making up his forces, this particular base hides more secrets from the government than for, while the poor pirates that wander by have no idea what they're in for. But with the capture of one of Whitebeard's commanders, war is on the rise, & Luffy still doesn't know which side he's on.

A 7-year old Luffy is approached by his future self. It seems Luffy's entire crew died at the hands of Fleet Admiral Akainu right after defeating the Yonkou Kaidou. Follow a much stronger, smarter Luffy as he repeats his adventure, hoping to avoid the same fate as well as correct some mistakes.
