Kakashi can't help but look up in the sky and expect a red moon mocking back at him. He's is stuck in the wrong place, wrong time, in a body too small. What was Obito thinking when he cast this upon him – vengeance or redemption – and does he even want to know? Time-travel.

"Why...do you want me." That last phrase was uttered lowly. Minato didn't break eye contact as he took a deep breathe. His words and reasons were simple. "Because you're family."

There is something going on with Kakashi, but Minato can't figure out what. All he has are distressing deductions, each one progressively worse than the last. It's no wonder Minato can't help but fear and fear and fear. (To be fair though, it really wasn't his fault he never considered the possibility of time-travel)

Shikamaru didn't know if it was time travel or reincarnation. But between memories of the future and having Itachi and Sasuke as brothers, he knew his dreams of a simple life would be impossible. (Or: The best idea I had for motivating Shikamaru to interact with Itachi).
