It was well known to the company that Kíli and Fíli were mischievous little terrors as dwarf children. Sitting around various campfires on the way to reclaim Erebor, the pair's youthful adventures and scrapes are exposed to the group, including broken bones, earthquakes, dwarf pox and plenty of h/c. Kíli/Fíli with protective!Thorin and the rest of the dwarves thrown in for fun.

Multi-chaptered fic. After glimpsing Erebor the Dwarves renew their quest for their kingdom- one hot, heavy day Thorin and Kili bicker, ending up with an angry Thorin sending his Nephew away; it might just be the worst thing Thorin had ever done. When Fíli doesn't escape the goblin tunnels, the Goblin King trades his captive to Azog, who is only too happy to throw his broken prize at Thorin's feet when he finally catches up to the company.

A series of one-shots starring Fíli and Kíli, aged 9 and 10, respectively, which chronicles their shenanigans and adventures. Sixth: Thorin should never have let them out of his sight. It would be no-one's fault but his own if he found his sister's sons cold and pale under a dusting of snow.

During the quest, Thorin accidentally lashes out at Kili, causing a great tension between them. Kili then gets captured by goblins, but only when he is captured by Azog do matters really worsen. Hurt!Kili please R&R!

When the orcs attack the dwarves outside Rivendell, Kíli does a brave and reckless thing to try and save them - which goes very badly wrong. The repercussions of this act are felt as the company gets closer to Erebor, driving those within to do unspeakable things, and question everything that they once held dear. AU

Fili recalls some of the highlights of growing up with Kili which involve imagined Goblins, stolen property, pretty girls, lack of facial hair, drunkards, and stupid ponies. Spans from early childhood to the early parts of the Unexpected Journey. Mostly movie verse with splashes of the book.

'It is defined by one's actions'. Ilá, shield-maiden of the Dúnedain and Ranger, is commissioned by Gandalf to bring common sense on the dwarves' quest to reclaim Erebor. Cousin to Aragorn, Ilá's knowledge of the Wild aids the dwarves, and teaches the young princes what it means to be royalty. On their journey, Fíli becomes obsessed with 'treasure'.
