Remus Lupin has been fighting his attraction to Nymphadora Tonks for months. One morning after a full moon, a soft whisper reaches his ear and shatters the resolve he held against her.

Nymphadora Tonks is invited to join a secret Order led by Albus Dumbledore. Little did she know that by accepting it, her life would change in more ways than one.

After Tonks blows up at Remus in the hospital wing, Minerva McGonagall decides to set her former student straight, and shows him how truly wrong he had been in pushing away the woman who loved him. Professor Dumbledore makes an appearance as well. There really was no one but Tonks who could truly understand his cursed existence, and no one he wanted to share it with more than her.

The sound of Tonks's crying reaches the ears of her cousin, and he knows the reason for her tears. As much as he loves his brother, Remus Lupin has hurt someone even more precious to him, and Sirius is determined to knock some sense into the thick-headed, self-sacrificing werewolf, even if it means taking his head off to do it. The night before he is to leave, he tries to say goodbye to his love, Nymphadora Tonks. This is a very descriptive and heartfelt, emotional, explicit piece. 18 only
