Victor's creature outlived him - the spark of false life breathed into him by his creator allowed him to carry on long after Victor perished on the ice. He survived and he flourished, gained a new appearence as years passed and took the name Sherlock, rejoining his family and seeking the one thing his creator could not give him. A soul. Sherlock suffers a traumatic experience. The only thing is that he can't remember it. Lestrade visits a seriously injured Sherlock and John in the hospital after the bombing at the pool. Sherlock!whump.

When Sherlock is shot, he remembers the cold. Sherlock whump because of reasons.

Mycroft gets a phone call from a badly injured Sherlock, but finds him in an even worse state than he could have imagined.
