He doesn't know why he's here, standing in the middle of the apartment of the man he had been assigned to kill. Rogers thought he knew him but he was wrong. That still doesn't explain why he ended up in his apartment in the middle of the night. No slash, just bromance!

A "Fill in" of what I wanted to see/hear after Captain fell out of the Helicarrier and Bucky "saves" him and how Sam and Natasha react.

"You came back," he says quietly, voice wavering and thin as he speaks. "You're not dead," the assassin, no, Bucky, intones flatly. Sam isn't the one Steve wakes up to in the hospital. Alternate scene from the end of the movie!

He doesn't know why he jumps. In the end, he jumps because of him. Because of the unconscious man plummeting to the water below like a red, white, and blue ragdoll. Slightly extended scene for the end of the movie!

He knew him.

[Part 2 of the Defrost Series] Bucky is nearly apprehended by his former handlers again and Steve is determined to prevent that from happening. Their escape doesn't quite go as planned. No slash, just epic bromance and lots of bicker/banter. Rated for language and blood.
