Post HBP. HHr. Harry and Hermione's odd behavior during their 6th year explodes into a maelstrom of chaotic, bitter emotions, caused by a strange 'illness.' Help comes from a young, orphaned girl who is much more than she appears.

Post-OotP-Ch57: Harry is calculating and exerts self-restraint, Moody visits, Harry gets some history on Voldemort's timing, Neville cheers up Harry just a bit, another sabbat is upon us and Snape pokes Harry, Harry gets a wild idea.

Professor McGonagall has watched the Dursleys all day and can see what sort of people they are. When Dumbledore leaves Harry on their doorstep and disappears, she takes him away. HHr

AU. Harry meets a deaf Hermione in 4th year and comes to realize that part of Growing up is Standing up. Luna, Neville & Hermione become his friends, and he grows more into the thoughtful man he will be as long as she's by his side.[social mess, stigmas]

Harry is a prisoner, and Bellatrix has fallen from grace. The accidental activation of Bella's treasured heirloom results in another chance for Harry. It also gives him the opportunity to make the acquaintance of the young and enigmatic Bellatrix Black as they change the course of history.

Harry begins to understand what Dumbledore meant by his greatest power but is it too late? Voldemort has been growing bolder in his attacks since Dumbledore's death while Harry wonders if the wizarding world is even worth saving.

Harry was sentenced to Azkaban after using magic to deal with the Dementors before fifth year. Now he is out and he throws away the shackles of Dumbledore and Ministry to fight the war on his own terms. AU as of OOTP.

Forced to compete in the Triwizard Tournament against his will, Harry faces things which no fourteen year old wizard should. A loss of innocence, coupled with betrayal, causes Harry to either give up or change in order to meet the challenges ahead.

My odd ideas file. Little snippets that don't quite merit their own stories. Some funny; some less so.

Systematically abused and degraded children do not suddenly turn into well-adjusted members of society when removed from the abusive situation. Nor do they tend to be very trusting of others, or forgiving. Sequel up.

COMPLETE. Two years after defeating Voldemort, Harry falls into an alternate dimension with his godfather. Together, they embark on a new life filled with drunken debauchery, thievery, and generally antagonizing all their old family, friends, and enemies.
