My idea of how the conversation SHOULD have gone, the evening after the garden party, similar to the scene shown in S2 when Bates declares his love but my own version of it... Reviews and favourites appreciated!

While trying to come to terms with their passing, their children, Annabelle and William, discover documents revealing shocking information about their parent's past. With some help from their Godmother, Lady Mary Crawley, they will put together the pieces of their family's history.

John fights depression and tries to get his life back on track. Anna's past still torments her and she's forced to take some time away from work to move on. They both end up in a place called Calm Waters. Will they be able to help each other and cure themselves? Modern AU. M-rated from Chapter 9. Nominated for two Highclere Awards, winner of A/B angst.
