Finding time to spare for the Winchesters is a struggle for Castiel, but every struggle has its rewards. Sam/Castiel, spoilers up to and including 6x07.

Set post "Sharp Teeth". When Dean comes home, he finds out Sam and Castiel are together.

During a few weeks in which there is a lull in the demon activity, Sam, Dean, and Cas have been spending much more time together. Sammy realizes he has feelings for Castiel and Dean enlists himself as their match-maker. This is a fluffy Sastiel comedy done by request. Enjoy!

While Dean was dead, Sam sought comfort in a boyfriend instead of Ruby. When Dean came back, Sam packed up and went with his big brother again and sees his boyfriend when he can. Castiel wants to save him.

Slight AU for 'My Bloody Valentine'. Sam is affected by famine, but he's not hungry for demon blood.

Sam is kidnapped by a witch who needs to use him for a spell. Obviously, Cas won't let that happen - human or not. Kind of angsty; established sastiel. 3.4k. A little bad language.

Castiel and the Winchesters aren't as prepared as they think they are when they go on an angel hunt. Sastiel, with a lot of hurt!Cas, some hurt!Sam, a little hurt!Dean. Oneshot, around 3.1k.

The loss of his wings weights on Castiel, he feels empty. "I'm going to cheer you up Cass." Sam says with a smile. (Very little hurt/comfort)

In answer to this prompt on the Sastiel Big Bang community: While Dean is the one always trying to get Cas to try new foods, Cas actually likes what Sam eats better. Alternatively: Sam eats healthy stuff because when growing up, he never got to. Cue Cas stealing Sam's food and other forms of sap.

Season 7 Canon Divergence : Sam, after his wall comes crashing down, can no longer touch another human or object without feeling some degree of pain. Dean still enlists Castiel's help, but Sam cannot take the feel of his touch long enough for Castiel to take his pain. Instead, Castiel finds other ways of soothing his friend's pain.

Luxury is a rare occurrence in a hunter's world. Cas is Sam's luxury. Sassy. Set some time during S6.

When Sam, a pirate, and Castiel, a naval officer, go overboard in the midst of a fight, they must form an uneasy alliance in order to get back to the St. Mary's naval port, and save Dean from the hangman's noose. Sastiel pirates!AU.

Sam finds Castiel in his dreams. Dean told him about that, but he never expected to experience it firsthand. It's not at all like he imagined.

Sam really, really, REALLY likes that Castiel can use his grace for something other than smiting demons.

[Sam/Castiel] After the first trial, Sam and Dean run into a powerful witch. Meanwhile, Castiel escapes Heaven. In their fight with the witch, Naomi's hold on Castiel is broken, but the brothers must find a way to keep it that way. Amidst their troubles, Sam and Castiel find solace in each other, but their time is cut short when Naomi sends another angel to track the Angel Tablet.

Prompt from orbiting saturn: "Crazy!Cas doesn't need to sleep, but he likes to. He also likes to use Sam as his bed." Mild spoilers for 7x22 and 7x23.

When Sam tells him they can't hold hands in public because he's afraid of people's reactions, Cas isn't happy. Honestly, neither is Sam... This is Sam/Cas SLASH, so don't read if it will offend you.
