An extended version of Surprise. Arthur and Gwen follow Merlin one evening, and learn more than they bargained for. Now they have a decision to make. No Slash! Mild spoilers up to the end of S3. All characters belong to the BBC.

Merlin, sick of keeping secrets decides that since he can't tell Arthur about his magic he'll simply stop using it, because if he doesn't use it he no longer has to lie. Written for KMM.

What if Merlin told Arthur he conjured the wind and he was the one who pushed Arthur aside and became injured instead of Will? He doesn't die, but what will Arthur decide, will he keep the secret or do what his father would want and kill him?

Super spoiler alert! They're everywhere! When Arthur is King and he's beginning to unite the land of Albion, Merlin reveals his magic...and is thrown in prison. This is the conversation that is about what...six or so years in the making?

Takes place sometime after This Wicked Day. Arthur finds out about Merlin and sentences him to death. Because magic is evil, right?
