But their plans are interrupted when Anna's mother decides to visit them. Will they get their proper Valentine's Day? Or will Mrs. Smith break up the marriage with her disapproval? AU

When Anna receives news of her family a week after Bates is released, husband and wife must face another hurdle in yet another chapter of their lives, only this time with a six-year-old in tow.

S4/Ep 2(US) or 3(UK) A/U - John's intuition kicks in during the concert, and he rushes downstairs to find his wife. Will he make it in time to save her from her attacker? ***Trigger Warning***

Series 1 - Slight A/U (but who knows?) - After Bates brings her the lovely tray; Anna witnesses him shoving Thomas against the wall, and goes to the courtyard to think. What happens when Bates joins her?

A one chapter AU piece. I was prompted with what might have happened if Bates had followed Anna down to the kitchen the night of the concert. Only one chapter.

What if Lady Mary hadn't suggested for Anna to smuggle Mr Bates in to the guest room for their wedding night? Would they have one at all or would they find an alternative? This is my first fanfic, so please be gentle. Reviews are very welcome. Characters belong to Lord Fellowes, of course.

My take on Anna's first night back at the cottage after John finds out. **Spoiler Alert US Ep 4/UK Ep 5** ***Possible trigger warning*** - there are no details, or anything directly addressing the attack. Just wanted to post a warning to be safe.
