I used to think that the only winners were those who died quickly and painlessly in the arena. But that was before I found what I needed in the person I'd least expected; Finnick.

It was like he had complete control over her. She would always succumb to his affectionate ways. He was just too irresistible and attractive. Plus, his personality intrigued her greatly and was the best part about the guy. Katniss began to wonder if it had been wise to allow a relationship between herself and Finnick...

"I think I'd like that sugarcube now." She said and smiled half-heartedly at him. He grinned again and his eyes lightened up as he put the sugarcube in her left hand, touching her fingers and caressing them a little bit on purpose... -OneShot-

"You know," Finnick drawled out, talking as if Katniss hadn't said anything at all. "You should say more meaningful words; words that actually matter. It's okay to voice what you're actually feeling right now, Katniss."

Breathing out for the last time, Katniss allowed sleep to grab her and take her away, as she and Finnick relaxed in their paradise…

Snow makes a deal with Katniss and Finnick: Sell themselves to Capitol citizens and their loved ones are returned safely, but Katniss is having trouble adjusting to her new "job".

I freeze mid-step when I hear a sound behind me. Instantly my instincts kick in and I find myself aiming an arrow at Finnick. "Well…" he starts slowly. Then, almost immediately, I can tell he's closer to me now. His breath tickling my lips. His warm scent washes over me, almost overwhelming me. "Making out seems to keep bad thoughts at bay…" he murmurs. Then I can suddenly see those sea green eyes, gazing at mine intently. I'm glad it's dark out or he would see my flushed cheeks.

AU. His contribution to the rebellion was supposed to secrets and slander. Haymitch decided taking on a wife would be more appropriate. She wanted to forget the Games ever happened. Then she's told of a fiance who'll never allow her to do so. And he isn't Peeta and she isn't Annie, and surely that means everything. Just maybe not quite in the way they'd thought.

Wise words propose that every story is a love story. Whether or not that's true, they manage to tangle in and fill each others' broken parts.

The Quarter Quell has ended, but Peeta couldn't make it. Katniss finds out that she did love Peeta, and gets depressed because she couldn't save him. She'll fall in love with someone else who has been helping her to cope with the death of one of the people she cared the most..

A twist to Finnick Odair's sugar cube scene, where Peeta and Cinna aren't' around to save Katniss from exposing her own secrets - and exploring more about Finnick. (Basically, expanded dialogues including Katniss and Finnick)
