It's been a month since JD awoke from his accidental hypnotism, but after a seemingly harmless nap in the on-call room, Perry finds both himself and his protege in a rather familiar situation.

Though the doctor in him tells him that he needs help, he doesn't want to drag anybody down with him. One man is smart enough to see the change, but can he pull JD out of his self-destructive state. JDA, suicidal-themes, extreme emotional pain.

I've always kinda wondered what Dr Cox could have been thinking in that scene in his house with JD near the end of 'My Fallen Idol' in season 5, so I decided to write the scene from his perspective! Chapter 2/epilogue finally up!

All he wants is to get home to sleep off a stomach bug, but life has other plans for JD. Hour one, he gets sick and gets mugged. How can it possibly go down from there? Try getting held up, kidnapped, stuffed in a car trunk...
