A shortie - an alternate way for Sully and Michaela to meet and fall in love. Sully comes to a stranger's defense, but she's doing a good job of fighting her battle on her own!

Janurary 2012 Picture Challege - 1st pic. Daniel, Cloud Dancing and Dorothy are gathered around the children at the homestead. Everyone seemed concered. 2nd pic. Michaela appearing to have a forced smile while Sully look on her also appearing concered.

During a quiet afternoon at the clinic, Michaela muses on the events of the last few weeks since her abduction by Dog Soldiers, and the renewal of her courting with Sully. This is my first effort at fan fiction, please be kind. Constructive criticism gratefully accepted. Follow up is being planned.

What will young Sully do after finding a young girl?

Set immediately after the awkward, yet funny scene between Mike and Sully, in "Where the Heart Is", when Sully says "I can make a fire. So can you, as I remember". What would have happened if they had actually kissed before Mike left the room?
