Sakura is now the ruler of Sound Country in Orochimaru, her father's, place. But where is Kabuto, her childhood friend? Why wasn't he at Orochimaru's funeral yesterday? Old bonds are broken as spy after spy is revealed.

While it is true history may repeat itself, it may not always happen the way people expect it to. Take the example of Team 7. Everyone expected them to follow their teachers', the Three Sannin, example. But the way they did it was....out of order.

Funerals are solomn occasions. The mourners remember what the person meant to them. But for one particular person in Sound Country, the present funeral has driven him undeground, alone, as Kabuto debates what to do now that Orochimaru is dead.
