To tie up loose ends concerning the stories on the show, I have chosen "The Taunter", Esteban Navarro and his evil grandmother Vina for Horatio and his team to finish. At the end of the run, he was probably going to be set free due to evidence in the lab being compromised. H promised Vina he was going to put her down a dark hole and I hope I do the story justice. Kyle comes home injured from the war, but there will also be a be a romance brewing between Horatio and Calleigh although, even though there are stiuations they find themselves in that should make it obvious, both are cautious.

This is a sequel to "A Father's Heartache", which should be read first before starting this story, to help understand the background. The title actually describes how Horatio and Calleigh's situation has changed since their marriage. There will be some drama mixed with romance. Enjoy!
