Waking up in a hero's body is one thing, being a hero is another. SI, where Peter Parker's body is taken over and the new owner realizes the world needs a hero, it needs a Spider-man. Harry Potter is done with life. He did everything and all he wanted was to pass on to the next great adventure. Sadly, rules get in the way of this and he must now find a new way to keep living. Some time ago when I started thinking about a Worm fic, three ideas came to mind. This is one of them, which now seems to have started to turn into a real story. Updates will be sporadic in all probability. It's considerably darker than most of my other work, but nowhere near the level of insane grimness of most Worm fics. (title changed on 2018-07-10)

This side story started life as a series of Omakes in my Worm/Luna Varga crossover story "Taylor Varga." It's more or less outgrown that now, with enough words involved to make it viable as a (sort of) standalone story as an experiment. However, it most likely won't make sense unless you have a working knowledge of that story AND Harry Potter, so I'd suggest reading both first :)

A nameless elf saves the lives of Prince Legolas and Captain Tauriel from a spider attack that would have surely overwhelmed them and soon collapses after. Grateful for their lives, they bring him back Mirkwood to heal. From there, things change within Mirkwood, slowly but surely. In Prince Legolas' opinion, the changes are more than welcome.
