Vignettes focused on the friends and acquaintances that fill Kurt's life throughout Season 2. Each chapter will highlight a different person, but I'm sticking with on-screen canon characters. I have no idea how many chapters/characters this will entail.

This is a collection of individual Kurt-centric short stories, each based on a 1 word prompt. Family - Friendship - Romance . . . honestly there's a little bit of everything. There were originally going to be 30 short stories. I ended with 26 before I ran out of ideas, so if anyone wishes to prompt me for "letters", "promise", "simple" or "future", feel free.

A post-Never Been Kissed fic. Kurt has been incredibly sad, hurt and tired lately. Burt finds out why . . . and then gets angry. Very angry. In the meantime, a few people are waking up to reality and Kurt is not as alone as he may think he is.

Follow-up to More Than Four Sides. After a painful but necessary conversation with his dad, Kurt follows through on his advice and braces himself for a similar talk with Finn, hoping that afterwards, both of them can move on for good.

A post-Theatricality fic, wherein a few things get explained, Burt sees all sides of the situation and reaffirms his position as a flawed but, all in all, great dad.

Summer brings restlessness/depression to Kurt, who believes the new friendships forged by Glee are now over. When he goes off alone to think – without telling anyone – his absence sets off alarm bells. Everyone reunites and summer finally, truly begins.

Burt loves his son, it's a well-known fact, but he's also admitted that the road to acceptance is long and difficult. This is just another bump along the way, and he'll get over it, eventually . . . hopefully.

A post-Original Song fic. Kurt reflects on some happy, happy things, then spends some time doing those same happy, happy things . . . and then gets interrupted by his father.

A post-The First Time fic. Another moment against the lockers - remembering what was, a present promise for more, and a thrill in thinking of what could be.

There's one thing, one person in the entire world who means everything to Kurt, and when faced with losing him, Kurt ends up losing himself for a time. But only for as long as it takes his father and his friends to bring him back to them.

Five minutes after Burt realized whose car had been lingering outside his house, he'd gone out and brought back a gel-haired, preppy teenager, who looked both miserable and resigned. He figured Blaine wanted to face his death-by-boyfriend's-dad's-shotgun with some degree of honour.

A twist on an old adage we know is a lie – words can be stones thrown at you, and they can hurt. Sometimes you can lend truth to the lie that they don't. And other times you throw something back. Hard. Kurt through the years, with Burt and the gleeks.
