Chicago has an inter-factional festival that celebrates when resources of dyes and pigments have been harvested or reclaimed and are now available. Dauntless loves Colorfest solely for the chance to throw a massive party and go wild. Eric loves Colorfest as an excuse to get shitfaced and maybe spend some time out of the office with his fellow Leadership officer. [Oneshot]

Eric realizes Four's feelings for Tris at the start, and is attracted to Tris as well. Seeing this as another competition, Eric takes her under his wing, personally training her so she could make it through stage one, not realizing that he will start developing feelings for her. Four had promised himself to her and only her, but he lied. Leaving Tris to pick up the pieces of her broken heart and hide under a believable facade to fool her friends that she is fine. Modern A/U Eric and Tris You know what they say; "Friends with benefits is only fun until someone catches feelings", Eric refused to believe that. He told himself a thousand times before this started that would never be him, or Tris, they could really stay just friends. Who occasionally spent the night together, in the same bed, naked, and sweating.

Tris just transferred to Dauntless University (DU), her roommate Christina insists on throwing a party in their room. The night ends up with her kissing both of her RA's and her spending the night in one of their rooms. It's possible that a love triangle is forming at DU. OOC

AU. All Tris wanted was to have a normal life. So what if her definition of normal meant abandoning her family in order to join Dauntless? She was not a monster, and she did not sign up to be in the middle of a war run by her mother.
