While exploring a new planet, Jim and the landing party gets 'sneezed on' by a strange plant. Everyone is seemingly unaffected. That is until Spock openly insults the captain in front of the whole bridge and begins crying at the drop of a dime.

During leave, trouble thwarts a good plan and causes Kirk and Spock to accelerate the timeline of their McCoy-centric agenda. But true to form, McCoy is already playing by a set of rules they don't understand. K/S/M.

After Chekov's accidental death, Kirk finds himself starting to fall apart. A grief counselor distantly related to Guinan tells him that of all the realities that featured Pavel Chekov, this one was the only one where Chekov died young, unmarried, and alone. Shaken by the conversation, Jim goes to Spock and Bones for comfort. Implied kirk/bones/spock. Very angsty with lots of hugs.

Vulcan has gone. Spock has lost much. Earth holds nothing for Jim, he is alone. The only thing they have left is each other. If the chance came to reclaim dreams they thought lost, is it a miracle or curse? In another universe they are going to find out.
