SEQUEL TO PAINT IT BLACK. Peter Parker was rescued from Hydra's clutches, but not without great cost. Tony Stark and the Avengers must now work desperately to find a way to remove the alien parasite, Venom, from the teenager before it consumes him entirely, Peter struggles to fight against his dark descent, all the while Hydra lurks, eagerly waiting to reclaim their investment.

The Avengers are broken and scattered across the globe after the events of Civil War. But when Peter Parker is taken by the very worst of humanity, Tony Stark will do whatever it takes to get him back, even if it means hunting down former friends and enemies to do it.

Peter Parker finally returns home after being on the run for almost a year. He's excited to live in the Avengers compound with his family and heroes, but everyone knows that it's not easy to adjust to a life in the public eye. Peter may think all is well and great, but his guardians know otherwise. Especially when a person from Peter's parents' past makes a return to the city.

After the break-up of the Avengers and enactment of the Registration Act, Peter is kidnapped and forcibly recruited to become a soldier for Tony Stark. The famed Avenger wants to rebuild his team - an army - to fight in an upcoming war. Except, Peter has no interest in being a soldier and does all that he can to escape his new life. However, it's not easy to outsmart or beat Tony.

Tony should have asked Peter to stay home. He should have brought his suit. He should have never let Peter take the bullet.
