A young vet student's number came up and Reese is on her trail while he and Finch try to figure out what she's involved in. The surveillance goes sideways when the operative is spotted and he suddenly becomes a target.

Harold Finch and John Reese have learnt, sometimes with luck, sometimes the hard way, that everything can happen, even under seemingly boring circumstances. And after The Machine escape this lesson will prove to be more precious than ever.

After Root's escape, Finch feels so conflicted about what The Machine has done that he comes down with a fever. In his delirium an imaginary Nathan helps him realize the truth about The Machine and about Finch's fears. Can Finch still command the spirits he has cited or are they turning against him? He can only hope Reese will be by his side when he finds out.

When Harold Finch falls ill during a case, nursing care from John Reese brings up feelings he's been denying.

Harold needs another surgery. He could really use some help, but will he confide in John? Inspired by a story prompt from nemo. This story is 5 chapters long, and the last chapter is non-explicit Rinch/slash. But the first 4 chapters stand alone, and anyone should be comfortable reading them. You decide. I'll give you another warning before the we get to the Rinch section.

Snow finds a second set of prints on the bottle Fusco planted and a mysterious man identifies them as Finch's. Together they plan to lure Reese in by using Finch as bait and Reese will need Carter's and Fusco's help to get their mutual friend back.

Post Season 1 Finale - early Season 2. Reese thought the first numbers following Finch's rescue would be as close to a return to their normal routine as possible. Finch thought things would get better after he was rescued. Turns out they were both wrong.

In which there's a daring rescue and an awkward thank you.

I just changed the last chapter slightly. I A dark lonely street, a helpless Harold versus five guys and their knife. What will happen, when John finds out? And what was Harold doing there anyway? John will have to teach some lessons and has a hard time to keep his temper under control. Someone has to pay dearly for what was done to the only Person of Interest in his life.

Normally John is the one who calls to say goodbye. But when Harold becomes involved in a hostage crisis it's his turn to make the call, and John has a choice to make. This story will be 3 chapters long, with alternating POVs. Disclaimer: I do not own Person of Interest or these characters.
