Well that's what this story is all about! Inspired by Charlie Puth's "See you again" this story touches on life, death and the meaning of all things. The story is set post-Ragnarok with brief mentions to Thanos.

Bruce wakes up on the Statesman alone and covered in cat hair. It still isn't the strangest thing that's happened to him this week. At least he hopes it is still this week. Bucky never stops falling, and Steve never stops running, and worst of all is that both of them keep living, on and on, as though the train that ran that mountain pass still has them by the hands, metal and metal. (Gen, spanning all Cap canon.)

And he cried when, at last, they triumphed. He cried for his brother whom he loved and of whom he couldn't beg forgiveness. While joy erupted around him, he sat on the grass of the cliff in Norway and cried. Quiet little sobs, to mourn that piece of his soul he hadn't been able to restore.

Thor is tired of losing everything, so when the universe spits him out in a time where he can fix it all, well, even Thor would be foolish to not seize the opportunity. Or, Thor becomes the king he was destined to be and has the power and knowledge to change things. Middle fingers up to your secrets, Odin.

INFINITY WAR SPOILERS What could have happened in the first 10 minutes of the movie so our hearts wouldn't have broken so early, or at least not as much.
