Set after Age of Ultron events. Natasha spends her nights watching Steve who apparently can't sleep either. One night she finally decides to go out of her hidding spot and talk with him. Romanogers fanfic.

This is set at the end of Winter Soldier, while Steve is recovering from his injuries. What happens when Natasha invites Steve to crash at her place when he gets out of the hospital? They become so much more than friends.

Steve loses the love of his life, but gains a little girl. He knows that he can always find Natasha when he stares into his daughter's eyes. He made a heart's pledge to his wife that he would always protect their saving grace.

A concerned Steve Rogers comes to provide her with the words of support and comfort she so desperately needs, as their feelings for each other simmer delicately below the surface.

The plan was simple: extract the Black Widow from the Red Room. But when the mission goes awry and the Avengers are taken hostage, despite all odds, Steve finds himself falling for the Red Room's top agent. Romanogers.
