Getting through the Snape's hazard at the end of first year showed that wizards didn't have much in the way of logic. A much cooler Sphinx in the Third Task of the TriWizard Tournament could have made for a much different experience for some. Not to be taken seriously, this is definitely AU and more than a bit OOC. But the Sphinx is cool. Luna said so.

Harry grows up learning two kinds of magic. It will be a HP/HG fic first and foremost, but may evolve into HP/HG/someone else, Dumbledore and selective Weasley bashing.
