What will he do with the eternity granted to him? Story begins 1000 years before LotR. Eventual major canon divergence.

I have a lot of plot ideas floating around, of varying degrees of complexity. I'm creating this collection as a place to post the shorter ones that I don't feel warrant a separate title of their own. My thinking is that this might be a way to write up some of these ideas, post them, and move on instead of trying to stretch everything into a full story. We'll see how it goes.

A fourth year fic. Harry is stuck in something he doesn't want to be in, Dumbledore's a manipulative bastard, Voldemort wants Harry dead, the school hates him...sounds like every year right? Well this year Hermione has a brilliant idea (or more than one) and her idea(s) change Harry's life, her life, and a big black dog's life too. AU and no idea which genre to put this under.

Harry decided that the only way he can win this war with his sanity intact is to train his own way without interference. But then he discovers an ability that he needs help with and only one person can provide that-Tonks. They bring the fight to the DEs in their own way so that the war will finally end.

What if when Draco challenged Harry to a duel at the beginning of first year it had a lot more significance then either realized? A duel not only for bragging rights but for injustice and eventual love. Harry/Harem

I've seen several fics where Harry "owns, or controls" the school. I think it could be made funny if he doesn't know.

After the Final task and the death of Cedric. Harry has a question. With Hermione's help he finds the answers. One t much H/Hr.

"So, basically, I have to choose a wife out of a certain group of girls or else they'll all die." Harry said flatly. "Anything else?" Guess who's immune to a veela's allure? With the dangers of competing in the Triwizard tournament, attempting to clear his Godfather's name, and living with a group of veela, fourth year just got a whole lot more interesting for Harry Potter.

Having been treated as a servant his entire life, Harry is more sympathetic when Dobby arrives, avoiding Vernon's wrath and gaining a bit of freedom. That freedom changes his summer, his life, and the world forever. A very long character-driven story that likes to play with canon.
