After being told the origin of her life-saving drug, Skye has to show she can be strong. For a moment she even has Coulson believing it. It isn't till she's alone that her emotions spill over the edge and it's left to Simmons to take care of her.

"You were the one who comforted me every time I broke down after I woke up. You were the one who didn't leave my side for one minute." Skye is awake and recovering physically. Mentally, on the other hand, she is still suffering. Although, she's quick to find out that she isn't the only one who is.

Skye and Jemma spend the night on the couch watching television...

Skye touches an 084, and gets a very unique ability.

Skye was never one for physical contact. Sure she punched people but whenever somebody innocently touched her, she freaked.

So she spends her time coming up with a plan, she admits that half the time is dedicated to coming up with a super awesome plan title. She also admits that half way through the planning she gets distracted because Jemma's off to the side somewhere and Jemma Simmons is really distracting.

"There's so much for her to be doing, so many labs for her to write up and so many scientific journals to read, and she's stuck in a bar reading the back of a beer bottle and sneaking glances at the girl at the counter."

The team recover a new 084 and she just happens to be something entirely new for the team. I don't own anything except a few characters I created. Changed the rating to T for future chapters.

Simmons thoughts/feelings through T.R.A.C.K.S. Very subtlety implied Skimmons.

Skye is going undercover as a Chinese Pop Star and things, well things don't go as planned.

"Why do paper cuts hurt more than most things in life?" Skye holds her newly treated finger up to her face before using it to grip the edge of the table. Jemma still looks like she accidentally ran someone's dog over.

"You're making a love potion? No way." Skye laughs. "No. Way." Jemma huffs out a breath. "It's not…it's for science!"

Jemma Simmons has two PhD's in Biochemistry. Too bad they don't exactly come in handy as she attempts to make pancakes for breakfast.

Public transportation doesn't suck as much as it usually does when there's a beautiful girl sitting next to you.

Jemma experiences her first kiss.

"She was gasping and shaking as she remembered the nightmare. Quinn's taunting face. The gun in his hand. The shots fired. The pain. The blood, so much blood."

Trying to get a handle on this whole mind reading thing is a lot harder than it looks.

"'I don't know what to do,' Jemma admits. 'You're not going to age.' And though she doesn't say it, Skye can hear the 'and I will' that follows."
