Shattered by loss, a Charmeleon looks through the short pages of her mentor's old diary, finding them nearly empty, with his last words being for her to tell a story. She picks up his old pen and, after months, finds out how to even begin. (WIP, a writing test for myself.)

Shattered by a bitter civil war and growing dissent, the Kingdom struggles to survive against the Colonies. However, each side is unknowingly being manipulated to their own destruction. Now only one human, dropped into the middle of the conflict can change fate and end the fighting. But what good is the power to change fate against an entire revolution?
