They had returned a lightning bolt. They stole the Golden Fleece. They held the sky. They navigated the labyrinth. They survived two apocalypses and Tartarus. It had never mattered the severity of each situation; as long as they were together. Percy figured it was about time they embarked on their next great adventure. A Percabeth oneshot based on a picture I saw on tumblr.

Annabeth's POV. After the war against Gaea, our two favorite demigods aren't the same anymore. When you're trapped in Tartarus, you're not coming out the same way. "Don't leave, don't leave, don't leave," he cried repeatedly, like a mantra. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, please come back," he apologized brokenly.

Annabeth has been away for two years in London, studying architecture and when she left New York she left Percy. Now she's hung up on details that she can't forget and she wonders whatever happened to that old blue toothbrush of hers. I swear my summaries suck and the story is pretty good
