I've read one too many stories with long drawn out will readings where Sirius leaves Harry more money than the UK's GDP. In response I came up with this abomination.

After a disappointing and mostly isolated life on earth, Harry tries to escape it and his responsibility and ends up in Alagaesia. Was it random chance that led him there or are the actions of the King so grave that they necessitate his arrival to maintain balance? Can he find peace and a life worth living in this war torn world? Or is he destined to wander forever alone?

The final battle is over and there is nothing left. At his death Harry is taken into another world and given a fresh start, a chance for a family in a world where he is not the saviour. But war is looming and the presence of a young Istari creates a pivot on which the future of Arda will swing. Slow start. No slash.

After the war, Naruto is flung to Thedas in the middle of turbulent times. With no way back home, he quickly realizes things are not as easy as they seem and problems start piling up. Naruto will have to survive in a world where the drums of war hail the arrival of a new era. Slowly goes from canon to AU, relatively slow pace. Rated M.

How will the world change when a battle hardened Naruto from the future comes to the past? With a change of name and appearance this old Naruto will help the Naruto of this new Konoha become the shinobi he was destined to be all the while trying to fit into this new world where those he knew as dead are alive and well.
