It is a blessing and a curse, this place, but John can't help but be grateful for it when Sherlock lays him down and lays him open; takes him apart and puts him back together like so many cadavers.

It's not unusual for John to find something...interesting...in the laundry. Today, though, tops all the days before. Written for a prompt: Laundry Baskets.

Sherlock finds something John would rather keep private. "He looked so pleased with himself, standing there deducing everything about a woman he's never met, and if there was ever a time I wanted to kiss him it was then."

He is the Northern Star of John's heart and, like any Captain worth his salt, John will set his course by him and follow it diligently. To the ends of the earth if need be.

The roar of the city falls away and all he can hear is Sherlock – "John? John!" – as London goes dark and his body pitches forward onto the hard concrete.

Sherlock Holmes hasn't spoken a word in twenty years.

His alarm clock has been unplugged while he slept,the newspaper is missing,and the shower is full of entrails. It took four straight days of the same behavior for him to realize that this was Sherlock's passive-aggressive way of asking for a lie-in.

"This was not part of the plan, John." T for implied sexy times, otherwise it's pretty tame.

"Don't forget me," Sherlock whispers. "Don't forget me." Forgetting Sherlock Holmes was never something he wanted, but he didn't have much of a choice anymore.

Just a small fic. What John did next. He travelled the world thats what he did. And his travels led him directly to the person that he wanted. Fluffy and rambling! Rated mildly! John/Sherlock.
