Rimmer's astronavs are tomorrow, and as usual, he's in crisis. Hoping to improve his chances, he tries to take the luck virus, but takes a megadose of confidence instead. He quickly grows reckless and euphoric, in the exam room and beyond. It's all just harmless fun until Rimmer tries to upgrade Starbug's recyc system, endangering the ship. The boys have to bring him down - fast.

When the boys from the Dwarf spot a BLIP on the scanner, it turns out to be something that will change their lives forever. The only problem is with no Starbug on board anymore and no Holly, can they pull together to meet this destiny head on.

I certainly never want Red Dwarf to end, however I've always had in my mind how I wanted it to. Of course I wanted it to be a happy ending and I have taken a bit of inspiration from the 'low key' ending of The Sopranos and Seinfeld (The final scenes anyway) I am not a script writer but I tried to do it in a scrpt like style.

Dave Lister wakes up. In England. With no memory of how he got there. All he knows is that he is in Captain Rimmer's Manor surrounded by Mrs. Rimmer and the two Rimmer children. Everything on Red Dwarf seems to have been a dream and didn't actually happen. Until the Rimmer children meet Cat and Kryten.

AU Rimmer comes out of stasis one day to find that the entire crew are dead and he is three million years away from home. To make matters even more complicated, Kochanski is the one brought back as the ship's hologram.

A conclusion to the Hitchhiker book series (excluding/replacing "And Another Thing..."). Very specifically the book continuity rather than any other version. It can serve either as an end to the series or a jumping-off point for new adventures. Basically just ties up all the loose ends.
