[AE] Near had been wrong about one thing. Light wasn't dead by the time they stumbled upon his body, and all because of a little loophole (or a little sympathy, perhaps) on Ryuk's part.

Chibi Light is a somewhat disgruntled angel, who is having problems following protocol in heaven. He soon finds this to be the least of his d L is, quite literally, a scarecrow. Straw and all. This is a coherent crackfic with the stylings of a fairy tale. Not too serious, but not lacking in a little suspense. (Light x L)

Post-Canon. After Light's death, Ryuk tries to find a human as entertaining as him. It doesn't go as well as he had hoped. Or: Ryuk appreciates what he had only after losing it.

Ryuk, who doesn't care, is in love with loopholes. Ryukcentric, not terribly coherent.
