The Alphans face internal tensions as they encounter a mysterious planet resembling Earth in many regards...all as a surprise await them. Can Koenig and the crew overcome these issues, or will pettiness tear them all apart?

Story follows "Orphans from Space" and will make better sense if that is read first. Pairs Victor and Helena. Dedicated to the memory of my friend, Barry Morse.
