Set mid-s8. Small Christmas fic for Harry and Ruth.

Second chances are rare. The first time around, Harry ignored all his rules and let Ruth Evershed into his life, only to lose her to outside forces. When she returns, Harry vows that things will be different but only if can learn from the past.

A new case. And old foe. Can a battle of wits and nerve be enough to prevent Armageddon this time? Can Ruth work out what is happening before it is too late? Is it a case of cometh the hour, cometh the geek?

Set in no particular series and with no bearing on what was, Ruth's on the grid and Harry isn't. That he happens to be on his honeymoon on his own, is down to a misunderstanding. Who better to give them a prod than Ros and Tariq.

This is another one shot, set after the end of S10, and so providing an alternate, and more satisfying ending to the story. Like a flower the story unfolds, so I can't say any more without revealling too much of the plot.

A sequel to 'For Being a Little Bad'. Three months later Harry and Ruth are not on good terms. When they are forced to work together off Grid. Tired of their constant bickering the team decide it is time they took a hand in resolving matters.

Keeping the cast from seasons 9 and 10 together, then fast forwarding to the film, Harry has apparently jumped from the bridge. The question is why?

At the end of 1996, a car bomb destroys half of Section B. As 1997 dawns, the team rebuilds with familiar faces. In the background, the threat that almost destroyed them all strengthens, plotting a scheme that will take all of Section B's resources to foil. Can Harry Pearce's new team come together in time to stop this threat? Or will it be the end before it begins?

Ruth left Harry on the docks two years ago. He thought he would never see her again, until a woman is overheard in a hospital in Turkey calling for Harry Pearce. Ruth has found her way home, but Harry discovers that she is still lost to him. But in time, they will both be reminded of what really matters.

Set immediately after the Albany fiasco. Harry is suspended and Ruth is not doing well at all. But when they are together, maybe they can find a little softness in their midst. Happy Birthday, Sir Harry!

The date this story occurs is the evening of October 31, 2009. Thus, it's a Harry's birthday fic, but that is just an excuse for a one shot set at this time of year, although my main motivation for writing this is because I really love to write dialogue for all three characters. Definitely one chapter only.

I'd long ago promised myself I'd put together another one shot featuring Ruth and Ros - a favourite pairing of mine – but not wanting to overdo a good thing I have waited a while to revisit these two. The challenge has been to concoct a different scenario for them to rub together in their own unique way. I hope you enjoy.

Using Series 10 spoilers. Although Harry has successfully returned to the grid, life is not any easier. It seems his life is on the line once again, but this seems to put Ruth in even more danger.

Ruth decides to celebrate her Birthday

Another one shot (and I hope I am not repeating myself in too obvious a manner. TBH, I can't tell.) Set in a S10 where Jim Coaver still lives, and the Gavrik mob are packed off early.

Trees, undergrowth and a whole bunch of foreign agents. Harry and Ruth are thrown into a situation where they have to own up to the team from Seasons 4 and 5, that she's finally said yes to that second date.

It's only months after the death of Ros Myers and Andrew Lawrence, and Harry finds himself on enforced leave.

Another one shot for the weekend. Set early-ish in S10, Ruth has an attitude which requires adjustment. Will she sense. or will she stick to her guns?

It was the code – blood for blood. An officer's death cannot go unanswered. But nothing is ever neatly tied up, especially when the Russians are involved. Harry's move to avenge Ruth's death leads to unforeseen consequences and an unexpected revelation. Even the best spies don't know all the secrets.

Nyssa's brother is the prime suspect in a murder investigation. Lucas is trying to uncover the mysterious faction that is targeting him and Nyssa. And, Harry discovers that Nyssa is connected to an old mission that began over 30 years ago. As if Nyssa didn't have enough problems.
