James Foster, an escaped prisoner, finds the Heroes at Stalag 13 with one request: to get him out of Germany. While not an unusual request, his past complicates things. On top of that, James is not the most truthful man to the heroes. With two German officers, the Gestapo, and even Klink hot on the boy's trails, James relies on the Heroes to get him out alive. Hogan investigates another unit's failed mission and fears the Underground might be compromised. Further complicating matters, London sends in a new team that rejects cooperation while Hogan is stuck with an unwanted new resident. Is there enough room in District XIII for two espionage units? Can he trust Saunders? If he cannot uncover the traitor, the end result is a firing squad.

When Hogan and Newkirk are cleaning Klink's office, they find his journal from WWI and grow curious. They, along with Klink's daughter, decide to take a peek inside and learn more about the kommandant's time in the Great War. What did he do? Where was he stationed? And how did he earn his nickname the Iron Eagle?

The challenge: Take one minute or so of an episode and write it from the perspective of any of the characters. First up: What was going through Newkirk's head when LeBeau and Carter started singing "This is the Army"?
