A storm in Seattle causes a power outage, forcing the Cranes to have a conversation. Niles and Daphne tell their children the story of how they met and fell in love. It should be delightfully sappy.

A 'haunted house' is the year's theme for a Halloween festival. Daphne volunteers to help decorate a century-old house, but she soon finds there is more than plastic bats and fake skeletons behind its walls. Something is lurking, and Daphne is determined to learn what it is, despite the disdain of others and the danger that might come. (set in S8)
