A performer from the Weimar era agreed to be interviewed about his work as the Emcee in the infamous Kit Kat Klub. Years later, another performer from the club wrote a memoir further describing the enigmatic Emcee. The two works are juxtaposed to form a nearly complete timeline of the careers of two Cabaret artists in their quest to both entertain and connect.

Sort of an alternate ending for most characters. Because I needed some closure and the characters just deserved it. The Emcee manages to indirectly bring some peolple back together. Doesn't contradict the canon though, so don't worry - I didn't mess with the powerful ending it already has. Set somewhere in the finale I guess.

NOTE: This is just a simple re-write of the musical, written in my words. I take absolutely no credit for the story or characters. A few scenes were created by me. After the show ended, what happened to these characters? Did they escape Germany? Find love? What choices did they make during the show that affected their life after the show ended? My interpretation of what happened to Ernst, Cliff, Sally, Schultz, and Schneider. COMPLETE

A Character analysis... sort of. :/ I just love these characters so this is just a fic portraying their points of views during the show... and maybe after as well. I don't own them... although I did play Fraulein Schneider... K for now but that may change... Based off of the Alan Cumming version.

Nazi-Germany is closing in on them, and changing everything, but Sally refuses to see it.
