*Warning- Story and Summary Contain Spoilers This is a fan fiction about Blair and his hunt for the Thing before and after he is assimilated. We all know what happens to those infected by the Thing. Whether by physical contact or being bitten by it, it will consume all. Little remains of the Antarctic outpost, but a team of researchers are sent back to investigate. One by one, they are all consumed by the Thing. One man survives, but not unscathed. While experimenting with the old moth-balled trans-reality portal Rhulan the sorceress happens upon an Earth upon which a team of humans in the anarctic are encountering a shapeshifting horror.

Kate is able to convince the Russians of what happened at the Norwegian base and is able to rescue MacReady in the nick of time. What will happen though when an unexpected visitor arrives at Vostok #12? This is a 'straight' sequel to both the 1982 and 2011 films. Currently rated T but may go to M in later chapters.
