In this fanfiction i wrote, we'll find out about Shang's past and why the love between him and Mulan is perfect. (Please don't blame me if I made some mistakes, it's my first fanfiction.)

With the emperor's forces on the lookout for her, Mulan keep's up the charade as Ping, while training Shang's new recruits. As she tries to keep the mask on, Shang searches for the hero of China. When he finds her, what will he do? Meanwhile, can our heroes cope with another attack? Continuation of 'Consequences' by Goldenbrook15. Read it first.

Right before the men were called to war, Shang met his young bride that his father selected for him for the first time and they were quickly wed. Now that the Huns have invaded, he has to leave her behind to protect their homeland...or does he? After all, this is Mulan we're talking about here. Rating cause war and they're married people.

AU. The events that lead Mulan to take her father's place went differently, leaving her to stay behind in the farm while Fa Zhu departs for war. Shan Yu's forces are not so easily predicted, however, and when their presence threatens the remaining members of the Fa family, one act of bravery is all it takes for Mulan to be taken along and become a warrior on her own right.
