Back in January, I wrote this song for a conceptual Broadway adaptation of the 1982 animated masterpiece "The Last Unicorn". It is meant to be performed by the story's tragic villain, King Haggard, who was portrayed by legendary actor Christopher Lee in the original movie. To Sir Lee, & all fans of "The Last Unicorn", I dedicate this song. Read & review, but no flames, please!

Unicorns are thought to just be myth told to children, but like everything else, they have had to adapt and taking on human form. When there home is under threat by developers brother and sister Lance and Anisia try to fight it without trying to reveal themselves to Lances friend, Tim.

There are moments that are never mentioned in time because there seems to be no point or meaning to them. There is a point, actually, you just have to pay attention. Hinted Amalthea/Schmendrick.

It is an often forgotten fact that most wizards live a long time; practically on the cusp of immortality if they are great. Perhaps this is a good thing, or they would be bothered quite a bit more than they often already were. Schmendrick/Amalthea (Unicorn) if you squint.

Amalthea has lost everything. She has been used in our experiments, now its time to go home. Rated T just to be safe, for language, and some mature situations.

This is my first poem and something I wrote for me in junior year in high school. Basically its the unicorns/Lady Amalthea thoughts after the movie and how shes depressed and confused. Her thoughts involve the snow. Its my first so be nice please. Oneshot
