M/M pairing, don't like, don't read.

Just some drabble-ish things I wrote because I've really come to love the Milo/Rourke pairing I've been writing. First chapter is basically a prequel to Safe and Sound, second will probably be just a bunch of fluff I write for them.

Milo has a nightmare and Rourke comforts him. Takes place after Safe and Sound, but isn't related. I've really grown to like this pair after writing that story, so this was an excuse to write some random fluff-ish thing for them as a loving couple, because everything else I've seen written for them is either sex (gross), abuse (just wrong), or both (not even going there.)

Rourke has become very protective of Milo and has been experiencing strange feelings whenever he's around the linguist during the journey to Atlantis. After Helga betrays the entire group, a battle for what's right ensues, and Rourke finally figures out what his powerful new feelings really are when he is faced with the horrifying possibility of losing Milo...forever.

Basically, this is a reimagining of the film with my Klingon OC Kahlaar added in. It's an AU, since some things will happen differently than they did in the movie. I put it in regular because there's really not enough of Star Trek in here, aside from Kahlaar herself, to make it a true crossover. She's not a Mary-Sue, I promise. It's better than it sounds. I suck at summaries.

How would the scene have played out if Milo had more than just a little cut on his shoulder, or if the Atlanteans weren't scared away by the digger? My hella-long take on this idea. It's better than this summary makes it sound, I promise. Rating is for blood.

AU. Milo Thatch is an Atlantean scholar named Mayloth'tash, and he's finally found the fabled "surface"…sort of. He's a little too injured, disoriented, and in awe of the foot soldiers looming over him to realize it just yet.

Helga survived after blowing up the zeppelin, but she has several broken ribs and a broken leg. Not fully trusted for the time being. She hates herself for what she almost did and can't fully forgive herself. Milo and Kida try to help her see things differently but it may or may not work. (may change my title not sure, if you have ideas let me know please)

When Helga first picked up Milo Thatch, she had no idea what she was getting into, or that it would change her life forever.
