Klaus straightened slightly as he remembered. Right the Apocalypse. Vanya. Five. Time-travel. Thirteen again. Klaus was fine. He could do this. Stay sober, stay clean. For Vanya, for Ben. Dave. What could go wrong? Everything. But everything had already gone wrong before so Klaus at least was prepared this time.

Or, they don't care. When time goes on and his symptoms only seem to get worse, Klaus is suddenly faced with the realization that maybe this is more than just Withdrawals.. maybe he's not okay.

There was one baby in particular Hargreeves wanted more than the rest. But, in the end, the Handler snatched the girl from his grasp. Now, she has the child in her possession, locked away to be used to their advantage. Her name is Rhianna, and this is the story of how she met the Umbrella Academy.

Inside the Commission there is a faction which wants to prevent the apocalypse and, having decided Five's attempts are proving futile, take it into their own hands to bring Vanya's powers to light earlier in the timeline. Everyone is talking about how The Umbrella Academy is back together with a "new" member of the team, Vanya. They are known to be eight of the children (including Ben) Who were born on the twelfth hour of the first day of October 1989 when forty-three women gave birth even though they weren't pregnant when the day began. But what about the other thirty-six? What happened to them?

With the help of some enigmatic allies, the Umbrella Academy prepares to take on the Commission in a final effort to save their brother, their timeline and the future of the human race. It's long been a joke between her and her favorite siblings that sunflowers clean up nuclear disasters, and Vanya is - coincidentally - named after a nuclear bomb. Therefore, she likes sunflowers. Years later she finds that maybe her name isn't a coincidence after all.
