Based on the show Sonic Boom, the newest Sonic show. It takes place directly after episode 34, Just a Guy. The town tries to throw a party to say sorry and celebrate Sonic, but the speedster just really isn't in the mood.

When Amy admits to Sonic that it affects her, all he wants to do is stay by her side. Not only that, he tries to admit how he really feels about her, dropping hints.
