Set 11 years after "The End," the Baudelaires get ready for an important day. Sunny and Beatrice do not remember anything from when they were infants. Violet faces an internal conflict. Klaus and his fiancee reminiscence on their past and plan their future. A familiar face seeks redemption. New mysteries arise as Sunny seeks answers.

My retelling of the Baudelaires' story. I tried to give them a bit more good fortune.

Follow up to my previous work, the Perilous Pirates. On Various Forms of Disasters Island, the Baudelaires realize that their new friends are playing a dangerous game - and that there is a traitor in their midst. Meanwhile, nine years later, Massachusetts Memorial Medical is housing the last chance for finding the Baudelaires alive. But will the messenger survive long enough?

What happens to the Baudelaires and Quagmires when they finally get the chance to live a normal life? Isadora most defiantly does not like Klaus. Mae will have a panic attack if she finds out Duncan likes her back. Violet and Isadora have way too many sleep overs. Oh yeah, and there's that race Klaus and Isadora can never seem to finish.

Perhaps it should be said the Baudelaire siblings were born to be unlucky, for there was an unlucky number of them. It should never be said, however, that the Baudelaires don't take care of each other. AU, many OCs.

"In a world too often governed by corruption and arrogance, it can be difficult to stay true to one's philosophical and literary principles." is a phrase which here means: Lemony Snicket lied about the deaths of Jacques Snicket and Olivia Caliban in order to protect them.

The Snicket siblings have been rescued by a submarine commanded by a girl looking for her missing father, but their peace last little as soon they encounter a deadly fungus, bad spelling, drugged children and a coded telegram. AU, sequel to "Will anywhere ever feel like home again?", but not directly.

He used to look at the world through rose-colored glasses: Now he understands what comes with being a volunteer. He recognizes there is change you can control, and change you can control. Wind the clock back to when the Baudelaires were at boarding school. They meet their friends the Quagmires, but what if they met someone else too. Someone who was skilled and had secrets of her own to hide. As the events of the story unfold, the new friend begins to uncover some terrible truths which she must share with the others before it's too late.

Ike visits Gregor's laboratory and remembers something.

Things were not the same after they left home.

When a family reunion turns into a talk about figurative fires, Quigley is intrigued. He tries to find out more, but a literal fire thwarts him, and his mother helps him down a ladder through a trap door. After a long, tense wait, he decides to investigate, but the trap door won't budge. All alone, there's only one thing he can do: find a way out and reunite with his family.

Beatrice breaks one of Lemony's rules.

Lemony is a mystery.

The Quagmires have reunited atop the self-sustaining hot air mobile home, but they can't stay up there forever. What will they find when they finally come down to the Sebald Academy, V.F.D.'s final safe place for both sides of the schism after the fighting is over? A better life, for sure, but will they ever truly be safe?

Only one person could be at Theodora's window 3 am with such an absurd plan.
